The shop

Battle Born Clothing has laser-engraved leather patches since 2020. The laser is an OMTech 80-watt CO2 machine. Patches are attached with our own heat process on a two-platen VEVOR hat press, or sewn on when a customer asks for it. Embroidery runs on two single-head commercial machines, a Happy HCD2-1501 and a YunFu 15-needle, with Rapos thread and Maggie magnetic frames. We also screen print (plastisol, water-based and discharge) and press DTF transfers that we outsource to DTF Tribe in Carson City, Nevada.

We are a SanMar and S&S Activewear customer (SanMar's Reno warehouse first), a Zapped Headwear dealer, and we buy Decky direct. We are an authorized decorator for Carhartt, Nike and OGIO. Hat styles on this site are Richardson, YP Classics, Flexfit, Port Authority, Decky, Zapped Headwear and Sportsman.

What we do not do

• No woven patches. Our patches are laser-engraved leather.
• No team or company online stores.
• No in-house DTF printing (transfers are outsourced, pressed here).
• No claims we cannot back up. We aim to be the top leather patch hat maker in the USA; the way we get there is on-time orders and free redos when we miss.
