## Large patches

Shield, badge and tall oval patches that crowd a 112 fit the 168 with room to spare. Fine detail still needs to follow the rules in our [artwork guide](/guides/artwork-that-engraves-well/); a bigger patch does not fix hairline strokes, it just makes them longer.

## Best uses

- Outfitters and hunting guides with badge-style logos.
- Construction and oilfield crews.
- Brands that want the hat to carry a large mark.

## Decoration options

- Laser-engraved leather patch, glued or sewn.
- Patch plus embroidery on the side panels.

## Richardson 168 leather patch pricing
